Let's take a deeper look at our Accelelator winners in Ghana. Demasko Farms were awarded the 'Top Ayoba Influencer Award' at the MTN Ayoba MoMo Accelerator.

Demasko Farms was founded on 17th January, 2020 by Desmond Adomako. He had a passion to impact his community in a unique way. Desmond had a stint with snail production business while he was in senior high school, so he had an understanding of the high demand for snails and snail products in both the local and international markets, and that presented an opportunity for him to venture into the business.

Demasko Farms leverage on abandoned and rejected refrigerators to raise snails as well as use agro-processing mechanisms to recycle waste eggshells into highly nutritious snail feed. With the help of their innovative Services, they set out to train more snail farmers on efficient ways of raising snails.

When asked on the future of Demasko Farms ,Desmond Adomakosaid: “I have plans to expand across the entire country and and to ultimately export our snails, snail slime and snail feed supplement across the globe.”

If anything, Demasko Farm has taught us that innovation is the unrelenting drive to break the status quo and develop anew where few have dared to go.
